Volunteering

Every season, CAYSA volunteers provide more than 1000 hours of service. Your help is essential for CAYSA to keep the tuition rate reasonable and maintain a quality symphonic program for our young musicians.

CAYSA members are required to volunteer, but can "buy out" that requirement for $50 per child per season.

Volunteers are needed to help out in the CAYSA office. Office hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. Duties include: answering phones, helping with mailings, filing, and typing.
